Thin and light like paper, these batteries are
ideal for IoT devices.
FDK's thin primary batteries are thin and light like paper, with a thickness starting from 0.45mm and a weight starting from 0.4g. They are suitable for IoT, medical, wearable, card-type, patch-type, and melody card devices. In addition, they have a low self-discharge rate of less than 3% per year (at room temperature) and can be expected to last for 5 years. They are ideal for fintech applications such as dCVV cards and OTP cards. And FDK's thin primary batteries use an aluminum laminate film instead of the outer casing of a lithium coin battery. They have good current characteristics because the facing area between the positive and negative electrodes is large. In tests simulating the transmission pattern of Bluetooth® Low Energy, they have flowed more than 3 million discharges. Moreover, they have passed the ISO/IEC10373-1 bending test. Rest assured even if you keep the battery-equipped card inside your wallet because it is flexible to use on curved surfaces.
