| FDK CORPORATION (Tokyo Stock Exchange 2nd Section: Code 6955), a global electronic component and battery manufacturer,
expands their power conversion portfolio with the introduction of 1/8th Brick 450W isolated power module. The module operates wide input voltage range from 36Vdc to 75Vdc that covers 48Vin and provides a typical 12Vdc output voltage. The module is offered in DOSA standard 1/8th Brick footprint, 2.3" x 0.9" (58.4 x 22.8mm) in through-hole package. This is targeted toward high-end computing, data communications, and industrial applications where board space, cost, efficiency, and reliable operation in elevated temperature environments are critical. The module is fully digital controlled and equips PMBusTM communication. Also, it employs output overcurrent/voltage protection, over-temperature protection, remote ON/OFF and output voltage margining. "The module gives customers the ability of space saving by replacing from 1/4th Brick and various control and monitor capabilities by using PMBusTM," said Mr. Hitoshi Matsushima, chief technical officer, FDK CORPORATION. "FDK will continue to add the high power products to its isolated power module product line." The module is RoHS II compliant.
