FDK developed “Sensor Logger” of battery changeable type for long time use

FDK CORPORATION (Tokyo Stock Exchange 2^nd Section: Code 6955) developed the new "Sensor Logger" of battery (CR2032) changeable type based on the current "Sensor Logger".

FDK has developed and started the sales of thin shape “Sensor Logger” in the year before last, as the device to get various data by putting on to persons and things, in order to response to IoT (Internet of Things) meaning everything connect to the internet.

Through the promotion of the "Sensor Logger", we received the opinions from customers requesting to make the running time much longer. To respond to these customer opinions, FDK proceeded the development with FUJITSU ADVANCED ENGINEERING LIMITED, a Fujitsu group member company, of the new "Sensor Logger" for long time use by modifying to the battery changeable type and enabling customize of the sensor function to decrease the consumption of battery for each customers’ request.
In addition to the development this time, FDK improved the convenience by changing geomagnetism sensor, one of the current sensors (acceleration/geomagnetism/temperature/humidity/pressure/illuminance), to angular velocity (gyro) sensor with wider range of application.

The "Sensor Logger" can be used for various application for example to grasp the working situation of the construction site, the situation of things during delivery because it can collect also the information of surrounded circumstances other than the movement, stop of the objects by the sensor attached to them.

This products be exhibited at the FDK booth during the “Embedded Technology 2016” to be held at Pacifico Yokohama from November 16th to 18th, 2016.

FDK will continuously proceed the development of “Sensor Logger” to respond customers’ various needs.
