3 Antenna Models For Wireless LAN are Developed.

FDK developed 3 models of antenna for Wireless LAN (WLAN) correspondence apparatus, such as a personal computer, and a PC card, a home-server, and since FDK planned the product lineup which can respond to the telecommunications standard and apparatus of WLAN.

WLAN has been spreading quickly in offices with the progress in broadband, as it can mitigate cable-laying construction and provide a free-location network environment. Furthermore, in addition to the conventional IEEE802.11b of 2.4 GHz band, the new IEEE802.11a of 5 GHz band increase transmission speed dramatically. The uses do not remain only in business but expansion of the use to flat TV such as LCD and PDP, DVD, video, and home-server is expected.

1. "DA-4T29N series" made full use of the original high frequency circuit technology, is the antenna for ultra wideband WLAN that can respond to all WLAN and Bluetooth frequency band. It is the world's smallest class in PC card for multiband, notebook PC, etc.

2. "DA-2U30P series" is now the most widely spread product for access point of 2.4 GHz band. It is a high-gain and wide-band RHCP (Right Hand Circular Porarization) antenna with superior axial ratio that is realized by using 4-antenna element under the original sequential array system.

3. "DA-3S25 N&P and 6S25P series" is RHCP antenna, which frequency characteristic of superior axial ratio is realized by original technology. It is the antenna for 5 GHz band WLAN that prevent the fall of transmission speed under the influence of multipass interference in high-definition image transmission. Application various apparatus was enabled with N type (without a circuit board) and P type (with a substrate).

Sample deployment of the products will begin from the beginning of February.
