ESTABLISHMENT of "FDK (THAILAND) CO., LTD."

FDK CORPORATION (President: Nobuji Suzuki) established "FDK (THAILAND) CO., LTD." as a plant of stepping motor in Thailand, which used to incorporate "the FDK division in FUJITSU (THAILAND) CO., LTD." and became independent as a whole.
The new corporation was established as one of wholly-owned 100% companies of the FDK incorporated company, and its product involving in stepping motor for the car (instrument panel meter and air conditioner control), as well as for the office automation machine.
The production of the new corporation will launch in April 2002, and sales of the product for the first year schedule is expected to be about 40 billion yen.
