Social Responsibility

Responsible mineral procurement policy is considered one of the important corporate social responsibility (CSR) issues at Fujitsu. We recognize that minerals such as gold (Au), tungsten (W), tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), cobalt (Co), or other minerals sourced from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or neighboring countries may be linked to illegal mining and high-risk areas. These areas may produce minerals that could lead to human rights violations and environmental damage. Our policy is to exclude problematic smelters and other suppliers associated with high-risk minerals that contribute to conflict or involve forced labor or human rights abuses from our supply chain.

Below is Fuchi’s statement, and we request suppliers to cooperate with the investigation and implementation to ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements.

Fuchi does not accept the delivery of products and materials containing gold, tungsten, tin, tantalum, cobalt, or other minerals sourced from illegal mining and high-risk areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or neighboring countries.

Fuchi does not procure products and materials with minerals sourced from illegal mining and high-risk areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or neighboring countries.

Fuchi suppliers must communicate the above requirements to their upstream suppliers and ensure compliance with this statement.
