The Energy, which is essential and important in our lives. The demand of
Energy is increasing more and more for the individual use, industrial use,
and regardless of the area. At the same time it is strictly requested to
consider and to care the environmental influence deeply in supplying energy.
FDK Group will globally contribute in the fields of effective, safe and
reliable energy management to respond to these two social requirements
by the accumulated technology and advanced research and development.
Founded in 1950, FDK Group started from the manufacture and sales of manganese
dry batteries. From that time, various experiments with battery materials
were conducted, and from the expertise gained in the related materials,
it was decided that FDK Group would entered the electronic device &
module business. Now, our electronic device products are used by customers
in various fields such as industrial equipment, automotive appliance, mobile
products, communications equipment and server products. With our battery
business, FDK Group continues to invest in the research and development
of battery materials and offers specialized lithium batteries used in remote
meter reading applications for gas and other equipment, environmentally
friendly nickel-metal hydride batteries which can be used repeatedly with
rapid charging, as well as high quality alkaline batteries sold in various
shops and stores. Our batteries are found in many life scenes, from industrial
sites to household applications. FDK Group also engages in power storage
systems as the synergy products combine the battery and electronic technology.
Furthermore, FDK Group proceeds the development of next generation batteries
with advanced technology such as SMD type small size all-solid-state battery
responding to IoT continually and dramatically evolving.
As electricity is an essential energy in our lives, energy management,
how to create it, store it and use it wisely, are on-going challenges in
our society. FDK Group will continue to provide technologies and products
in our quest to support the ultimate solutions to these challenges.
