- The Growth Strategy of the FDK Group -
Started as a battery manufacturer in 1950, FDK has been manufacturing high performance batteries and electronic devices applied with the latest cutting edge technologies including material technology and high-density mounting technology, cultivated for decades.
FDK marks the 58th anniversary of the founding of the company. While business environment of the electronics has been changing dynamically on a global scale, we announced the new policies and measures this year aiming at the stable management and growth. To make the best use of our technologies and to seek for competitive business development, we will focus our businesses on two platforms of a power and a high frequency. Based on our cultivated material technologies, we will focus our business such as multilayer power inductors, DC-DC converters, ultra capacitors, batteries, high frequency multilayer devices and high frequency /high-density mounting devices on the above two platforms and will create distinctive products.
Under our social mission of "contributing to the society through manufacturing", we would like to contribute to realize the３E societies which seeks energy security, environmental protection and economic efficiency to establish the sustainable recycling society and to realize the ubiquitous society which the life of people are enriched as anyone can get benefits of accessing computer networks in anytime, anywhere and anything.
