The AMF1005L series of low-pass filters are the smallest low-pass filters
in the world. They are made with dielectric ceramic materials that are
uniquely developed by FDK using techniques to fully optimize the multilayer
patterns, low-temperature sintering technology, and by taking advantage
of FDK's experience and know-how in designing and manufacturing multilayer
chip inductors.
Compared to the use of discrete devices, such as inductors, condensers
and resistors, on a circuit board, the use of the AML1005L takes about
one-eighth the footprint of those devices and makes it possible to simplify
a circuit design and save mounting space and cost. The AML1005L series
filters are ideal noise reducing filters for high frequency circuits found
in mobile phones, digital television tuners, wireless modules, and so on.
